I’ve spent the last few days fervently hunting for tan leather chaps to complete my XXXmas costume.
The chaps I found were all black leather, super long, unflattering…and I couldn’t get them over my thighs. The largest chaps would only fit 28” thighs, six inches too small for mine.
I could get custom chaps made, but they started at $300, were only in black leather, and wouldn’t be ready in time for the party.
Thankfully, my step mom (she raises horses) had these chaps at her house when I went over for Thanksgiving.
THEY ARE PERFECT. Not super long, open-back (so they fit my fat legs), tan leather, and they’re gorgeous. Lots of beautiful detailing.
She asked me to break them in at the party. I intend to do just that.
Chuck is finally back from his cruise, hurray! He gave me a neon pink souvenir tank top.
I like the cut, but I’m not sure…thoughts?
(Also, I’m up to 235lbs! Yeah, progress!)
